National Poetry Month: Home

April is National Poetry Month! This celebration was launched by the Academy of American Poets in April 1996 to highlight the cultural impact of poetry and poets in our society. The month-long celebration includes special days and activities including Poem in Your Pocket Day and the 2021 Dear Poet Project.
