Finding Electronic Books


 

 

Use OneSearch to search across all library resources.  Narrow your search results to electronic books by using the options in the "Refine My Results" bar on the left.

In the "Format" section, select "Books."  In the "Availability" section, select "Available Online." Your results should now be only electronic books.

Electronic Book Databases

ACLS Humanities eBooks
An online collection of about 5,000 humanities electronic books.

EBSCO eBook Collections
Find electronic books by searching EBSCO eBook Collections. eBooks can be accessed from off-campus, downloaded as a PDF, and some can be formatted for online reading and browsing.

SpringerLink
Contains the full text of more than 25,000 electronic books covering areas including nursing, biomedical sciences, engineering, computer science, and chemistry. 

Electronic Reference Book Databases

Gale Virtual Reference Library
Provides access to the full-text of hundreds of subject-specific reference books.

Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia
The online equivalent of the print encyclopedia.
