Summarizing a Source
In this step you will be using all the information that you have gathered and reviewed in steps 1-4. Now it's time to bring the evidence together to help you build a case for your thesis.
It can be tempting to use the wording straight from your article(s) or just copy and paste quotes. That, however, does not provide a narrative for your audience from your unique perspective (and depending on your use could involve plagiarism).
