How to Use Bergey's Manual Online

 

 

  1. Once your are on the Bergey’s home page, there is no need to Login/Register, just use the Search Bar at the top of the page.

  2. Type in the Genus of the bacteria in the search bar (not the species).

  3. In your results look for an article on your Genus that has the green text that says “Full Access”.

  4. The full article will have all the descriptive information about your selected Genus.
    1. Please note: The tables are best viewed in the PDF format, which can be downloaded by clicking on the PDF symbol
