Choose two books that contain information on your species (5 pts total)
(No children’s book or textbook. It has to be no more than 25 years old)
- Book 1 should be at least 3 pages long with your species info
- Book 2 should be at least half a page with your species info
Search for Library Books in OneSearch
Use OneSearch to search across all library resources. Narrow your results to books by using the options in the "Refine my Results" bar on the left.
In the "Availability" section, select "Available in Print." Your results will now show only print books available at both the Main Campus and East Campus libraries.

Advanced Search Tips
- Brainstorm 2-4 key terms that sum up your topic to use as your search terms
- Use quotes around names or phrases... "Albert Einstein" or "Oil Pipelines"
- Use AND to search for multiple concepts together... "endangered species" AND protection
- Use OR to search for alternate or related terms... "global warming" OR "climate change"
- Use the "Subjects" links found in each book record to find related books
- Ask a Librarian for assistance!
